HEADLAND

Day 23 - 30 in 30

HEADLAND
ORIGINAL ART ACEO 2.5" x 3.5"
Ask about larger Originals in the same series or Prints of this ACEO. To view my Gallery please visit Daily Paintworks.

This painting is SOLD but I'm happy to commission a similar work. Contact me to inquire about prints and art cards.

These are the beautiful turquoise waters of the southern ocean. Sadly, I've seen so many beautiful places like this sold to the highest bidder and quickly covered in rarely used holiday homes. These often block the view and use of the beaches. Perhaps that's why another name for "point" is "headland" to remind us to use our brain when dealing with pristine beauty. There is often only one opportunity to take a stand.

Tip: Sometimes it's difficult to balance distant values with the foreground so I suggest getting the background colour blocked in before attempting the foreground.
